Stand-up comedy night with Detroit comedian HaHa Davis at Helium & Elements Restaurant, 18+ showroom.
HaHa Davis is playing Helium & Elements Restaurant in St. Louis over three nights: Friday, October 30, Saturday, October 31, and Sunday, November 1. It's a full weekend of stand-up, so you've got a few dates to choose from rather than just one shot.
If you're not familiar with him, Davis is a Detroit-born comedian who first built his following back in 2013 making short comedy videos on Vine and Instagram. Those characters caught the eye of Chance the Rapper, and by 2015 he was appearing on the tracks "No Problems," "All Night," and "Blessings" from Coloring Book, while narrating the Magnificent Coloring World Tour as Carlos The Lion. His catchphrase "Dis Finna be a breeze" became a pop-culture sensation that got picked up by everyone from Snoop Dogg to Tom Brady, and eventually led to a music-video collaboration with Snoop.
Since then, his work has reached a few different corners of the culture. He's appeared in an episode of Detroiters, in promos for TBS's Drop the Mic, and in Forbes magazine. He was even a character in NBA 2K18. Between 2018 and 2019, he took his act on the road with the Big Fellas of Comedy Tour. In 2019, Comedy Central aired his first episode, "D-Boy," and in 2020 he branched out into publishing with the comic book Beyond Me and the lifestyle brand Fellas.
