Dance party for women, trans and non-binary folks with 80s, 90s and 2000s pop, hip-hop, new wave and R&B.
Earlybirds Club is coming to Delmar Hall on Friday, October 23, from 6 PM to 10 PM. It's a dance party built for women, trans, and non-binary folks, and it runs in the early evening as a safe, judgment-free alternative to late-night clubbing. The club's tagline says it all: 'A Dance Party for Ladies With Shit to Do in the Morning.'
Resident DJs spin pop, hip-hop, new wave, and R&B from the 80s, 90s, and 2000s, so you'll hear a mix of eras across the night. The St. Louis chapter is fronted by ambassador Beth Casagrand, who also runs Non-Binary St. Louis.
There's a bit of history behind the name. Laura and Susie co-founded the club in 2024 after reconnecting at their 30th high school reunion. Susie passed away in 2025, and the club continues in her spirit. Ten percent of ticket proceeds go to the Susie Lee Legacy Fund, which supports nonprofits uplifting women and gender-expansive people. The parties have been featured in the New York Times, NPR, The Guardian, and the Los Angeles Times.
