Special Event: Casey Frey

Casey Frey is playing Helium & Elements Restaurant in St. Louis on Tuesday, November 10, at 7:30 PM. If you've come across his name before, it's probably from the internet. He's built a huge following on his own terms, with his videos and online sketches racking up over 200 million views. He's described as one of Hollywood's most sought-after comedians and personalities, and he tours as a stand-up comic.

Beyond the sketches, he's worked with a pretty wide range of people. He's collaborated with artists and musicians like Donald Glover, Marshmello, Tiesto, and DVBBS, and he's moved into acting, too. He stars in the film MAINSTREAM, directed by Gia Coppola and also starring Andrew Garfield and Maya Hawke, and he's in the Hulu series Abbott Elementary. This is a stand-up show, so it's him on stage with a microphone, rather than a sketch or a scene from one of those projects.

There are a few practical things to keep in mind before you head out. The venue is 18+, so you'll need to be at least that old to get in. Seating is general admission on a first-come, first-served basis, with reserved seats assigned by management on the night. If you're planning to eat before the show, dinner reservations are available on Friday and Saturday nights—this one is a Tuesday, so that's something to keep in mind if you're thinking of a full night out. The show starts at 7:30 PM.
