Blade Rave: Vampire Blood Rave

Blade Rave takes over The Sovereign on Friday, October 30, a themed rave that reimagines the bloodbath scene from the 1998 movie Blade. The whole night is built around that one sequence, turning the venue into a vampire underworld for the evening. If you've seen the film, you know the vibe: a hidden club where the dance floor is the only thing that matters until everything goes sideways.

DJs hold down the floor with goth, techno, house, and other EDM sub-genres, and there are go-go dancers throughout the night. The bar serves themed cocktails and a limited run of "Blood Bags," and you'll find cosplayers mixed into the crowd. Visuals are handled by @deadeyesart, and the whole thing builds toward a midnight bloodbath to close it out.

As for what to wear, the suggested attire runs from goth, industrial, and steampunk to full-on vampire or superhero cosplay, so you can lean into the theme as much or as little as you want. The night is strictly 21 and over. Doors open at 8 PM, and the show starts at 8 PM, so you can get in early and settle in before the midnight finale.
