Playful bingo activity for children ages 2 to 5 at the St. Louis Aquarium, where they match animals and learn fun facts.
Aquarium Bingo for Books is at the St. Louis Aquarium at Union Station on Monday, October 19, and again on Monday, October 26. It's a bingo activity for kids ages 2 to 5, so it's geared toward the little ones rather than the older crowd. The kids get a bingo card and match animals they spot around the aquarium, and along the way, they pick up some fun facts about what they're seeing. It's a good way to turn a regular visit into a bit of a scavenger hunt.
If you've never been, the St. Louis Aquarium at Union Station is a 120,000-square-foot space that takes you from freshwater rivers down to the depths of the ocean. One of the highlights is the Changing Rivers gallery, where Missouri's own aquatic life swims up to greet you. There's also the 250,000-gallon Shark Canyon, home to several shark species, and the Deep gallery, which houses exotic sea dragons, octopuses, and jellyfish. The whole experience is rounded out with interactive programs and up-close animal encounters, so there's plenty to see even after the bingo is done.
