Hip hop night Achi Fest presented by St. Louis artist Zeus Rebel Waters at The Dark Room, a live music and art venue at The Grandel.
Zeus Rebel Waters headlines Achi Fest at The Dark Room on Friday, October 23. He's a St. Louis hip hop artist and songwriter, and this is a home-city show. He's also an entrepreneur, a single father, a community leader, and a philanthropist, and he describes his sound as 'Gumbo' — a gritty blend of all genres mixed with melodic cadence and eclectic rhymes.
The venue is The Dark Room at The Grandel, 3610 Grandel Square, which is run by the Kranzberg Arts Foundation. It's a live music and art space that pairs performances with rotating photography exhibits celebrating the sights and sounds of St. Louis. It's also home to the Wednesday Night Jazz Jam, a free, family-friendly weekly session hosted by Bob Deboo. A full-service bar and catering by Michele C. Catering round out the room.
