Selektah drum and bass night celebrating 13 years with a sunset set by London Elektricity, hosted by Degs and closed by Sinistarr.
London Elektricity headlines Novum/North Outpost on Sunday, October 18, as part of a day-long celebration marking 13 years of Selekta. The Sunday-night drum and bass sessions built their following at the Upstairs Lounge, and the organizers are framing this one as a return to those roots. It's a long haul—running from 2 PM to 10 PM—and they're pitching it as a journey rather than a standard club night.
London Elektricity takes the center with an extended three-hour sunset set, timed to run as the light goes down. He's the founder of the Fast Soul Music label and a co-founder of Hospital Records, widely cited as a pillar of liquid and soulful drum and bass. This booking closes out his US tour, so it's the final stop on this run. Degs hosts the day, and Sinistarr takes over for the closing set.
The rest of the bill fills out the afternoon. Local support comes from ATZ, Psychonauts—a B2B between Alesdi, Monarch, and Nic—and Wet Denum. Selekta support adds Bacon Beatz, GeeCee from Kansas City, and Stray. Between the early support and the late closing set, the music runs nearly the whole day.
