A high-energy tribute show to ABBA featuring their biggest hits with authentic four-part vocal harmonies and vibrant staging.
Thank You for the Music: The Ultimate Tribute to ABBA comes to the Mayflower Theatre on Sunday 6 September, bringing the Swedish group's string of number-one hits to the stage. It's a tribute show, not the original band, and the theatre makes that clear: the production isn't affiliated with the original artists, their estates or their management.
Now in its 22nd year on tour, the show is performed by a cast of West End-calibre vocalists and musicians. The setlist runs through the big ones: Waterloo, Dancing Queen, Super Trouper, Mamma Mia, Knowing Me, Knowing You, Gimme! Gimme! Gimme! and The Winner Takes It All. They're built around authentic four-part vocal harmonies, vibrant costumes and high-energy staging, so it's as much about the look and the sound as it is the songs themselves.

It's open to all ages, though under-16s need to be accompanied by an adult and under-2s aren't admitted. The show runs for about two hours and five minutes, including an interval, and starts at 7:30 PM, with doors opening at 6:30 PM. Tickets start from £32.50, and you'll find the Mayflower on Commercial Road in Southampton.
