The UK's flagship boating festival featuring yacht and boat debuts, marine equipment, British brands and on-water activity.
The Southampton International Boat Show returns to Mayflower Park from 18 to 25 September 2027, though this edition is running over a shorter window than usual. It's the UK's flagship boating festival, and it's organised by British Marine, the industry body that puts together the whole waterfront programme.
What you'll find there is a broad mix: yacht and boat debuts, marine equipment, British brands, and on-water activity. The show brings together new boats, established builders, and marine specialists, with a particular focus on the 12.00 to 23.99 metre luxury yacht market. If you're into that side of things, it's where a lot of the newer builds and the more established names in the industry end up side by side.
Beyond the boats, there's a bit more going on. The show hosts the Superyacht UK Young Designer Competition, which is judged by industry figures. British Marine also runs a digital Training Academy for people entering the wider marine industry, so there's a professional side to it as well as the public display.
