Six

Six returns to the Mayflower Theatre from Tuesday 27 October to Saturday 31 October 2026. It's a short run, just five days, so if you're planning to go, it's worth getting your dates sorted early.

Written by Toby Marlow and Lucy Moss and co-directed by Lucy Moss and Jamie Armitage, Six turns the six wives of Henry VIII into a pop concert: each queen takes the mic to tell her own story, remixing five hundred years of historical heartbreak into an 80-minute celebration of 21st-century girl power. It's a fast one, barely over an hour and a half, and it's built around the six women taking turns at the front to give their side of things.

The cast for this run is Sasha Aldredge as Catherine of Aragon, Yna Montarde as Anne Boleyn, Emily Dawson as Jane Seymour, Jodie Knight as Anna of Cleves, Sammy Timbers as Katherine Howard, and Layla Chivandire as Catherine Parr. They're supported by alternates Abi Atchison, Millie Readshaw, and Eve Kitchingman, and super swings Emilia Paige Iurin and Lucia Valentino. The music comes from the all-female band The Ladies in Waiting, led by musical director Rosabella Gregory.

It's a show that's travelled quite a bit. The London production at the Vaudeville Theatre is in its sixth year in the West End, and it's toured the US, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, Singapore, South Korea, Germany, Italy, and Switzerland. Along the way it's picked up more than 37 major international awards, including the Tony for Best Original Score and Best Costume Design and the WhatsOnStage Award for Best West End Show. Its original studio album went Gold in 2021, and the show has been nominated for five Olivier Awards, including Best New Musical. The live-captured film release played in UK cinemas on more screens than any other limited-release event.
