A smash-hit stage show retelling Jane Austen's classic, directed by Isobel McArthur, as part of a UK tour.
Pride & Prejudice (sort of) is at the Mayflower Theatre from Wednesday 3 to Saturday 6 March 2027, as part of its UK tour. It's an Olivier Award-winning comedy by Isobel McArthur, who also directs it, and it's a reimagining of Jane Austen's most famous love story. The title gives it away: it's an irreverent but affectionate adaptation in which men, money and microphones are fought over.
The show is still running in the West End, and the music is a big part of it. The score leans on a string of pop classics, including 'Young Hearts Run Free', 'Will You Love Me Tomorrow' and 'You're So Vain'. It's a comedy first and foremost, and the reviews reflect that: Variety called it 'riotously funny' and the Daily Mail described it as 'gloriously entertaining'.

On the practical side, the production runs about two hours and twenty minutes with an interval, so it's a full evening. It's recommended for ages 12 and over and contains strong language, which is worth keeping in mind if you're bringing younger ones along.
