Jurassic Park

Harbour Lights Picturehouse is running a special outdoor screening of Steven Spielberg's Jurassic Park this summer, with dates running from 18 July through to 13 September. It's a bit of a dinosaur classic, and seeing it outside in the open air gives it a different feel than the usual cinema trip.

The story is one you probably know: scientists give the go-ahead to a theme park filled with genetically engineered dinosaurs, which, as you might expect, don't stay behind the fences for long. The whole thing is set on a remote island that serves as the home to the park and its living dinosaurs, and that island setting is exactly what the outdoor screening plays on.

Harbour Lights itself is a two-screen cinema and bar in Ocean Village, Southampton, overlooking the harbour.
