Andrew Murray Memorial Programme Fair

The Andrew Murray Memorial Programme Fair returns to St Mark's Church Hall on Saturday 26 September, from 12:00 to 2:30pm. It's a fair dedicated to Southampton FC programmes and memorabilia, run in memory of Andrew Murray.

For those who know the scene, the name will ring a bell. Andrew Murray was a Southampton FC programme dealer who ran programme shops at both The Dell and St Mary's, and he fronted the annual Southampton Programme Fair for many years. He often staged it on the day of the FA Cup Final alongside his wife, Anna, and put in more than 40 years of service to the fans. Fellow Saints fan, collector and stallholder Chris Tuck called him a 'true Saint' who served collectors with humility and a smile. Since his recent death, fans have kept his name and legacy going through the fair.

On the tables, you'll find programmes from The Dell, St Mary's, Wembley, and games played up and down the country and across Europe, dating from the 1940s to the present day. Whether you're chasing a specific match from the old ground or just want to browse through the decades, there's plenty to look through. It's as much about the chat and the community as it is about the programmes themselves.

Entry is £1, which includes a hot drink, so you can take your time and have a proper look around. The fair runs from 12:00 to 2:30pm at St Mark's Church Hall on Archers Road in Southampton.
