Winter Makers Market

The Winter Makers Market returns to God's House Tower this December, taking over the tower and the ZEST Collective studios next door in Tower House on Town Quay Road. It's an independent festive market in the heart of Southampton's Old Town, and this year it runs across two weekends: Friday 4, Saturday 5 and Sunday 6 December, then again on Friday 11 and Sunday 13 December.

More than 100 independent creatives bring their work, and the line-up changes each weekend, so if you can't make the first one, there's a second chance. The range is broad: original artwork, ceramics, jewellery, prints, textiles, homeware and handmade gifts, all from Hampshire makers. It's part of the 'a space' arts programme at God's House Tower, delivered with ZEST Collective and sponsored by GO! Southampton.

New for 2026 are Late Night Fridays, which push opening times to 9:30pm for a festive late-night shopping experience with music and a chance to meet the local creative community. If you need a break, there's a café bar on site with mulled wine, hot coffee and festive focaccia sandwiches.

Entry is free, and there's no booking or tickets required. On Fridays, it's open 6:30pm to 9:30pm; Saturdays and Sundays run 10am to 4pm. The market is spread across God's House Tower and Tower House, Town Quay Road, Southampton, SO14 2NY.
