Technical death metal concert featuring Allegaeon, Gorod and Abysmal Dawn as part of the Tech It Easy! Europe 2026 Tour.
Allegaeon play The 1865 on Tuesday 8 September, as part of their Tech It Easy! Europe 2026 Tour. They're a five-piece from Denver, Colorado, and Metal Hammer Magazine once called them 'the new face of ruthless modern death metal'.
They've brought two support acts with them. Gorod are a technical death metal band from Bordeaux, France, and Abysmal Dawn come from Los Angeles. They describe their own sound as an aggressive mix of modern death metal that blends the hooks and technicality of early 90s American death metal with atmosphere, melody and brutality. Between the three, you've got technical death metal from the US and France, and a more traditional death metal approach from LA, so the night covers a fair bit of ground within one genre.
