Live tribute to The Who recreating the band's early-1970s peak with its signature stage show, at the Birdwell Venue.
Who's Next play Birdwell Venue on Friday 13 November, a tribute to The Who. They're a long-running act, formed back in 2003, and they've played across the UK and Europe over the years. That includes the Cavern Club in Liverpool, The 100 Club in London's Oxford Circus, and a crowd of 40,000 at Carfest North.
They describe themselves as the premier live tribute to The Who, and they set their sights on the band's early-1970s peak. That's the era of Live at Leeds, the Isle of Wight Festival, Tanglewood and the Fillmore shows, and they go for it with authentic stage wear and instruments. The set brings back the band's signature stage business: Townshend's windmill swings and scissor kicks, Daltrey's mic swinging, Moon's wild-man antics and Entwistle's cool stage presence. If you know the Who, you know the look as well as the sound, and that's what they're recreating here.
