The Script live in concert with special guest James Morrison, presenting new single Man In The Arena.
The Script play Utilita Arena Sheffield on Saturday 14 November, with James Morrison as special guest. It's their first Sheffield date since their last arena run, and they're touring the new album, The User's Guide To Being Human, which came out on 14 August. The set will feature the new single 'Man In The Arena', the first track from the record.
It's a new era for the band, and the context behind it carries some weight. Their previous album, Satellites, came out in 2024 and saw vocalist Danny O'Donoghue process the grief following the death of his bandmate and friend Mark Sheehan in 2023. That record was followed by a global arena tour in which every show paid tribute to Mark, so this new run marks a shift in focus. The new album, The User's Guide To Being Human, is the first full-length release since then.
To give some scale to the run they're coming from, The Script have six UK number one albums and eight in Ireland, over 14 billion streams, 5 million albums sold and numerous international Platinum certifications, led by two US Platinum singles and two US Top 10 albums. James Morrison opens the night as special guest, so there's two sets to get through before the night wraps up.
