Free, gentle wellbeing walk led by the reservoir rangers around Redmires Reservoir to relax and enjoy nature.
Redmires Reservoirs is hosting a Wellbeing Walk on Wednesday 28 October, from 10 am to 12 pm. It's a free morning out in the Peak District, led by the reservoir rangers who'll take you around the water for a bit of a stroll. The whole thing is pitched as a gentle, mood-boosting walk in the outdoors, and the rangers encourage anyone coming along to turn up in comfy shoes.
The walk is less about hitting a distance or a pace and more about the slower side of being outside. The rangers lead the way, and the idea is to relax, chat, and take in the nature around you. It's a two-hour slot, so there's plenty of time to wander without feeling rushed, and you'll be in the company of other people doing the same thing. If you're looking for a low-pressure way to get some fresh air mid-week, this is a good shout.
Every week we pick 🏆 the 5 best 🏆 things to do in Sheffield and send them to your inbox. Just one weekly email, no spam.

As for the practicals, the meeting point is at the very end of Redmires Road, in the S10 4QZ postcode. If you're driving, there's a public car park at the north-western edge of the upper reservoir, which puts you right on the doorstep. It's a free event, so there's nothing to book or pay in advance—just turn up on the morning. The walk runs from 10 am to 12 pm, so you're back and done by lunchtime.
