Free screening of the ski film 'We Can't Not', narrated by Sean Bean and presented by freeskier Paddy Graham, with a Q&A with the athletes.
We Can't Not premieres at ODEON Luxe Sheffield on Sunday 25 October, a 60-minute ski film narrated by fellow Sheffielder Sean Bean and presented by Paddy Graham, who's spent his whole life making ski films. It's a co-production between Innsbruck-based Legs of Steel, a production house with three Sports Emmy Awards, and Red Bull Media House.
Graham describes it as a ski film about making a ski film. It plays uncompromising freeskiing against an intimate look behind the process, drawing on wildlife documentaries and vlogs that break the fourth wall. Two years of filming follow Graham alongside some of the world's best freeskiers, including Kye Petersen from Canada, Markus Eder from Italy, Tom Ritsch from Austria and Finn Bilous from New Zealand, across Alaska, Whistler, Hokkaido, New Zealand and the Alps. It was created by Graham and Tobi Reindl, written and directed by Adam Gendle, shot by Johno Verity, and scored by Austrian indie rock duo Cari Cari.

The night is more than just the screening. After the film, there's a Q&A with the athletes, so you'll get to hear from some of the people who actually spent those two years on the mountain. Doors open at 6 PM, with the screening and the Q&A running from 7 to 8:30 PM. Entry is free, and the cinema is in the city centre on Arundel Gate, S1 1DL.
