The musical Waitress, with limited tickets available, follows Jenna, a waitress and expert pie-maker who dreams of something more for her life.
Waitress is playing The Lyceum from Tuesday 13 to Saturday 17 October, as part of its UK and Ireland tour. It's a small-town diner story about Jenna, a waitress and expert pie-maker who's dreaming of something more for her life. When a new doctor arrives in town, things get complicated, and with her workmates Becky and Dawn by her side, she finds that laughter, love and friendship make for a pretty good recipe for happiness. It's a warm, character-led show that doesn't take itself too seriously.
The production comes from a female-led creative team: the score is by Grammy winner Sara Bareilles, the book by screenwriter Jessie Nelson, direction by Tony Award winner Diane Paulus and choreography by Lorin Latarro. West End star Lucie Jones returns to reprise the role of Jenna, and she's joined by Les Dennis as Joe and Evelyn Hoskins as Dawn. These Sheffield dates are part of the wider tour, which opens in March 2026.
