WagonWheel, the Sheffield roots and Americana label, plays its final afternoon of live shows at The Greystones.
WagonWheel are playing The Greystones on Saturday 31 October, and it's billed as the label's final show. The afternoon starts at 2.30pm, so it's a daytime one rather than a late night.
For those who've followed the name, WagonWheel Presents... is the label behind WagonWheel, a Sheffield-based roots and Americana festival that's put on more than 350 dates across the UK. This particular show is meant to wrap up twenty years of Sheffield events, so it's a bit of a farewell to the label's local run.
The bill is a long one, with ten acts sharing the afternoon. The Fargo Railroad Co., M.G. Boulter, Suitcase Rags Orkestra, T.C. & The Hoodoo Shakers, The Low Drift, Big Convoy, Banjo Jen, The Swells, Buffalo Ghost and Colin Mounsey are all on it, so you'll get a good stretch of music to work through. It's an Americana-leaning line-up, which fits the roots sound the festival has built its name on over the years.
