Technical talk on EF Core and MongoDB by Arthur Vickers at the FaithTech Sheffield meetup.
Arthur Vickers is taking the stage at Sheffield Technology Parks on Tuesday 3 November, with the session starting at 18:30. He'll be talking through EF Core and MongoDB, so if you've been working with either and wondering how they sit together, this is the one to catch.
The talk is part of FaithTech Sheffield, a six-weekly meetup for people who love technology and follow Jesus. It's a small part of a much bigger picture: FaithTech started in Canada and has since grown into a global movement with groups across North and South America, Asia and Europe. The Sheffield branch is run by local volunteers Matt Bold, Andy Mayer, Nicola Mayer and Dan Tarrant, who keep the meetups going every six weeks.
Because it's a regular thing, it's less about a one-off event and more about a community that meets up around the things they're into. If you're a developer in the city, it's a good way to get out and talk shop with people who share your interests, and the six-week gap means it doesn't take over your whole calendar. The focus here is on EF Core and MongoDB, so you'll get a proper look at how they work together rather than a broad overview of everything.
