Talk show in which Harry Redknapp shares behind-the-scenes stories from his football career and his time on I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here!.
Harry Redknapp is coming to Sheffield City Hall on Monday 9 November, with his talk My Life In Football and Beyond starting at 19:30 in the Oval Hall. He's billed as 'the funniest man in football', and the evening is built around that: stories from a long career on the touchline, told with his usual charm. It's a talk rather than a match, so you'll get the behind-the-scenes stuff and the locker-room antics that don't make it into the match reports.
There's plenty to draw from. He'll be talking about managing iconic players over the years, and he's not just sticking to the football side of things, either. He's bringing in his time on I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here!, where he was crowned 'king of the jungle', so you'll get tales from the Australian bush alongside the ones from the dugout.
For a bit of context, Redknapp's management career started way back in the States, where he was player-assistant manager of NASL side Seattle Sounders from 1976 to 1979. From there, his footballing journey took him through Portsmouth, Tottenham Hotspur and Queens Park Rangers. He's also run a Harry Redknapp Charity Q&A evening, which he says made a profit of £14,100.
