Free workshop for startup founders on how to prove investability to angel investors, led by Chris Dalrymple.
Chris Dalrymple is running a workshop on proving investability to angel investors at Sheffield Technology Parks on Wednesday 28 October. It's a ninety-minute session, 12:00 to 13:30, and it's free to attend, though spaces are limited so you'll want to book your spot early.
Dalrymple isn't just talking from the theoretical side of things. He's an exited founder, an angel investor, and a business mentor who's been through the whole cycle himself. He co-founded Mina, an EV charging B Corp that he grew from an initial idea to an exit, selling to a US payments company just three years after the company was formed. These days he does fractional consultancy, mentoring, and advisory work, and he's a co-founder of Trove, which helps high-growth tech businesses scale. He's also the Entrepreneur-in-Residence at Sheffield Technology Parks, so this is his home turf.
The session is part of the Parks' Investment Workshop Series running across October and November 2026, supported by ecosystem partner Barclays Eagle Labs. It's aimed at startup founders who are considering angel investment and want to understand what actually makes a business investable before they start pitching. If you're at that stage where you're thinking about bringing in outside capital, this is a good place to get some practical perspective from someone who's sat on both sides of the table.
