Sheffield's biggest annual music festival held across three days at Hillsborough Park, with five stages of live music, comedy and family entertainment.
Tramlines returns to Hillsborough Park from Friday 23rd to Sunday 25th July 2027, Sheffield's biggest annual music festival back for another three days in the park. It's a proper city-wide fixture, and this year it spreads five stages across the site, with live music, comedy and family entertainment running throughout the weekend.
The music is the main draw, and the line-up usually brings together some of the biggest names in British music alongside guests from overseas. It's not just about the main stages, either: the festival programmes comedy, a pop-up cinema and a dedicated kids and family area, so there's more to it than just the bands. One of the five stages is handed over to a Sheffield institution, which always adds a bit of local flavour to the mix.

If you've missed a few years, the kind of names that have played Tramlines in the past should give you an idea of the scale. Kasabian, Madness, Royal Blood, Catfish & The Bottlemen, Courteeners, Ian Brown and Supergrass have all appeared here, so the bill tends to lean towards big, recognisable British acts. It's a three-day stretch, from Friday 23rd to Sunday 25th July, at Hillsborough Park.
