The Milk Men, with members of The Pirates and The Mustangs, play classic R'n'B and blues tunes plus originals at The Greystones.
The Milk Men play The Greystones on Saturday 14 November, with doors at 7:30pm and the music starting at 8:00pm. It's a Board Walk Live night, and it's open to all ages, so it's one you can bring the whole family along to if you fancy.
On stage, the band is built from a few different corners of the British R'n'B scene. Mike Roberts is on drums, formerly of The Pirates, and Lloyd Green is on bass. Adam Norsworthy, who you'll know from The Mustangs, takes the guitar, and Jamie Smy is on vocals. Between them, they've got members of The Pirates and British Blues Award nominees The Mustangs in the same line-up.
As for what they'll be playing, the set mixes classic R'n'B and blues tunes with their own original material. They describe their versions of those older songs as dynamic and white-hot, and they'll be playing them alongside the stuff they've written themselves, so you'll get a bit of both in one night. The whole thing is presented by Board Walk Live, and as it's all ages, it's as much for the kids as it is for anyone who's been following the scene for years.
