Over-18s night at the fire-surviving pub The Harlequin, with house band Children of Bamford and themed food and drinks.
The Harlequin is back on its feet on Friday 30 October, with a night called The Harlequin From The Ashes featuring Children of Bamford. If the title sounds a bit on the nose, there's a reason for it: the pub caught fire on 30 October 2025, and this is the first anniversary of that date since it reopened. The 'From The Ashes' name is a direct nod to the fire and the pub's survival.
Children of Bamford are the house band here, and they'll be playing the session. The whole evening leans into the theme, with smoked beers and fiery food specials on the menu to match the anniversary. It's a night that works as much as a celebration of the pub being back as it is a gig.
