The Denabys

The Denabys play Yellow Arch Studios in Neepsend on Friday 16 October, from 7:30 pm to 11:00 pm. It's a headline show for the Sheffield indie rock band, with Niall Ogley, James Turner, Adam Sleight and Ted Tansley on stage.

They're a local outfit, and their sound sits somewhere between gritty indie, alternative rock and modern guitar music. It's driven by punchy rhythms, catchy hooks and lyrics about everyday life and the chaos of youth. They describe it as blending raw northern energy with sharp songwriting and anthemic melodies.

They've spent the last year playing out across the region. They sold out The Foundry in April 2026 and played sets at Tramlines Festival and Rock N Roll Circus, and they're often talked about as one of the most exciting live bands on the scene right now. This is a headline date in their own city, so it's a good chance to see them on their own terms.

Tickets are £11 through Fatsoma. The show is for ages 16 and over, with under-18s admitted with an adult. Yellow Arch Studios is at 30-36 Burton Road, Neepsend, Sheffield S3 8BX.
