Late-night electronic music night with Techcircuit and Psylloween at Sidney & Matilda.
TECHCIRCUIT & PSYLLOWEEN takes over Sidney & Matilda on Saturday 7 November, a late-night one that starts at 23:00. It's a double-header of a night, bringing together two distinct sounds under one roof in the city centre, and it runs well into the early hours.
On one side you've got Techcircuit, which sits on the tech-house end of things — the kind of steady, driving beat that keeps a dancefloor moving without too much fuss. On the other, Psylloween brings the psytrance, all fast tempos and those swirling, synthetic textures that give the genre its name. The two don't usually share the same bill, so the night works by letting them run side by side rather than trying to blend them into one.
Because it's a late start, it's more of a night out than a quick trip to a gig. You'll be there for the transition from the main room's peak into the early morning, with the two styles taking turns to hold the floor. If you're into the heavier, more electronic side of the Sheffield scene, this is exactly the kind of thing that keeps the city's dance nights going long after the pubs have shut.
