Full day of live blues across nine bands, from midday to late, in The Church House on St James Street.
Steel Pews Blues takes over The Church House on Friday 20 and Saturday 21 November, two days of blues in a Sheffield pub that still feels like a pub, with pews, pints and guitars. The Friday night is the warm-up: doors at 19:00 and free entry all evening, no ticket needed. Saturday is the main event, a full day in the pews rather than a quick support-and-headline, with craft ales on tap and the music running from 12:30 through to the night.
Friday 20 November features two bands: Clockwork Blues start at 19:00, followed by Dirty Ruby at 21:00. Saturday 21 November is a ten-band marathon that kicks off at 12:30 with Woodbridge Music, then Slim Wilson and the Swamp Brothers at 13:30, The Tigermen at 14:30, Bone Broke Kings at 15:30, and Killin Floor at 16:30. The evening continues with Green: A Tribute To Peter Green & The Blues Years of Fleetwood Mac at 18:30, Black Bear Bones at 19:30, Tom Kilner at 20:30, and Dogshark at 21:30.
