Soft Serve + Halta D

Soft Serve are playing Alder on Sunday 1 November, from 5pm to 9pm. It's their Sheffield debut, and they're the ones putting the night together, with support from Halta D.

Soft Serve are an indie/funk collective from Nottingham, billed as 'Nottingham's jamming royalty'. They describe their sound as groovy, eclectic and danceable, and this is their first time playing in Sheffield. They're organising the night themselves, so they're the main draw on the bill, with Halta D opening for them.

The venue is Alder, Unit 111 in the JC Albyn Complex on Percy Street in Neepsend. It's a multi-purpose space that hosts club nights, live music and private functions, so it's a bit of a different spot from the usual city centre venues. If you're not familiar with the area, Neepsend is just north of the city centre, and the JC Albyn Complex is a hub of creative spaces in the district.

It's a Sunday afternoon and evening slot, running from 5pm to 9pm, so you'll be home well before the Monday morning rush. Soft Serve headline with Halta D on support, and the whole thing is held at Alder in Neepsend.
