Vintage kilo sale with around nine tonnes of 1960s onwards clothing picked by the kilo at The Vintage Depot.
Worth The Weight are opening up The Vintage Depot on Sunday 25 October for a kilo sale, running from 9am to 4pm. They're calling it 'The UK's Biggest Vintage Kilo Sale', and they're throwing the doors of their warehouse depot open to both trade and the public, so it's as much for the casual browser as it is for anyone who knows their way around a vintage rail.
There's around nine tonnes of handpicked vintage and pre-owned stock brought in, with men's and women's clothing from the 1960s onwards and plenty of name brands in the mix. The format is the one you'll expect from a kilo sale: you're handed a biodegradable bag on entry, you pick and mix your own haul from the rails, and you pay by the kilo at the weighing stations. Cash and card are both accepted, and they replenish the stock throughout the day, so the rails stay full and fresh even if you arrive later in the afternoon.
If you're in the trade, there are wholesale handpick appointments available with a minimum spend of £300. Otherwise, it's just a day of digging through a massive amount of clothing and paying for what you've actually gathered.
