Free outdoor vegan market with up to 30 stalls of vegan street food, artisan bakers, craft brewers, ethical jewellers and local artists on The Moor.
The Sheffield Vegan Market returns to The Moor on Sunday 8 November, one of only four times it takes over the city centre in a year. It's run by Vegan Market Co., who've been bringing it to Sheffield since 2019, and it gathers up to 30 stalls along one of the city's main thoroughfares, right in the heart of things.
The food is the big draw: vegan street food vendors and artisan bakers handle the eating, while craft brewers take care of the drinking. Beyond that, it's a bit of a proper market, with ethical jewellers, small-batch soapers, local artists, zero-waste champions and environmental charities. There are plenty of gluten-free options on the day, so you don't have to be vegan to find something that works for you.
There's a community side to it, too. The organisers offer free pitches to local businesses, charities and community groups that meet their eligibility criteria, so you'll see a good mix of established names and smaller, local outfits. Sheffield's large student population and its reputation as one of the greenest cities around make it a natural fit for a day like this.
