Day-long celebration of whisky with distilleries, tastings, masterclasses, food and entertainment, plus a new Rum Room.
Seven Hills Whisky Festival is back in Sheffield on Saturday 18 September 2027, taking over The Steamworks for the day. It's a full day of tasting, masterclasses, food and entertainment, and it follows another sell-out year, so it's one of those things that tends to go quickly if you're planning on it.
The festival brings together distilleries, independent bottlers and brands for a programme of tastings and masterclasses, with food and entertainment running alongside. The focus is on the craftsmanship and diversity of the spirit, pairing producers with whisky aficionados for a day of discovery. If you're just starting out, the masterclasses are a good place to get your bearings; if you've been around the scene a while, the tastings let you work through a wide range of expressions in one go.
There's one new addition this year: a Rum Room. It's a separate space dedicated to rum, so if you're as keen on that as you are on whisky, you can work your way through both without having to choose. Between the tasting tables, the masterclasses, the food and the entertainment, it's a long day, and the Steamworks is a good spot to settle into for the afternoon.
