The Mowbray's popular Sunday roast returns for the season, with tables to book in advance.
The Great Sheffield Roast is back at The Mowbray on Sunday 25 October, the venue's popular Sunday roast returning for the season. It's one of the Mowbray's most regular fixtures, and it's a seasonal one, so it's worth getting your table booked well in advance rather than leaving it to chance on the day.
For those who haven't been, The Mowbray is an independent events space in a restored 1889 industrial building on Mowbray Street in Neepsend. It's a sister venue to The Chimney House and Victoria, and the building itself is part of the draw: bold industrial architecture sits alongside interior design and furniture by 93ft. The room is flexible, filling anywhere from 15 to more than 200 guests for supper clubs, seasonal feasts, private dining, parties, exhibitions, meetings and weddings. Up On The Roof, the private first-floor rooftop, looks out over Parkwood Springs, and The Mowbray Kitchen prepares the food on site.

That kitchen is what's running the roast, and because it's one of the venue's most popular fixtures, tables tend to book up quickly. If you're planning on it, it's better to get your booking in early. The roast is free to book, and it's running on Sunday 25 October at The Mowbray, 118 Mowbray Street, Neepsend, Sheffield S3 8EN.
