Bristol band SCALER plays Sidney & Matilda with support from HONESTY, Home Counties, FEET, Karma Sheen and YAANG at the Jarred Up Festival.
SCALER are playing Sidney & Matilda on Saturday 24 October, as part of the Jarred Up Festival. The Bristol group is fronted by Alex Hill, Isaac Jones, James Rushforth and Nick Berthoud, with visual artist Jason Baker on the team. They blend trip-hop, drum'n'bass and experimental electronics with techno and metal, and they've put out the album Void in 2022 and a double A-side with Daniel Avery in 2023.
They aren't the only ones on the bill. The day brings together a full line-up: SCALER, HONESTY, Home Counties, FEET, Karma Sheen and YAANG. The Leeds collective HONESTY is led by George Mitchell, and Home Counties released the album Humdrum, produced by Al Doyle. The whole thing is part of the Jarred Up Festival, which the organisers describe as bringing some of the best underground bands to Sheffield across three stages at Sidney & Matilda.
