Bottomless Caribbean-themed brunch with jerk chicken, curry, rice and peas, patties and 90 minutes of dancehall, reggae and RnB, 18+.
Rumkeg876 is running its Island Vibes Brunch this Saturday 24 October, starting at 13:00. It's a Caribbean-focused bottomless brunch in Nether Edge, built around jerk chicken and rum, and it runs on the last Saturday of every month.
The food is proper Caribbean: boneless Jamaican jerk chicken and a vegan and vegetarian curry, both served with rice and peas, fried dumplings and coleslaw, plus a selection of patties. The drinks run for 90 minutes unlimited, and there's a mocktail option if you're skipping the alcohol. The room fills with 90s dancehall, reggae, 90s-00s RnB and hip hop, afro beats and rocksteady, and every last Saturday of the month a special guest DJ takes the floor.
Tables seat up to 14 people, so it works for a big group, and larger parties are spread across separate tables in the same area. It's strictly 18+.
