Stand-up show by Rhys James, star of 'Mock The Week' and 'QI', billed as a fast, forensic show of big ideas and overthinking.
Rhys James brings his stand-up show Chop Logic to the Montgomery Theatre on Friday 14 May 2027, starting at 7:30pm. If you've come across his name before, it's probably from the telly: he's been a regular on Mock The Week and Live At The Apollo, and has appeared on QI and BBC Radio 4's Rhysearch. He's also the author of the viral U&Dave lecture I Stalk Strangers Online, which gives you a fair idea of the kind of territory he likes to tread.
Chop Logic is billed as a fast, forensic show of big ideas and gag-dense overthinking. It's the sort of title that suggests he's going to take a single thought and pull it apart until it's barely recognisable, and the reviews back that up: critics have called him one of the funniest men in the world, with the stand-up itself described as scintillating. If you're into comedy that's as much about the logic as the punchline, this should be right up your street.
