Regular bar night PUB WORLD with Beybstation Social, Gut Level's queer-led dance music club night, at its DIY venue.
Beybstation Social is at Gut Level on Thursday 22 October, part of the venue's regular PUB WORLD bar night. It runs from 17:00 to 23:00, so it's an early start that carries through the evening.
If you're not familiar with the place, Gut Level is a queer-led DIY event space and collective here in Sheffield. It's a not-for-profit venue that focuses on dance music, club culture and the communities around them, and it gives a platform to people underrepresented in the music industry — queer, LGBTQ+, womxn and non-binary people in particular. It's not just about the nights, either; they run club nights alongside community-led initiatives like the Wet Patch, a garden open to all members, the Working Them's Club, and the FLAW Collective. Membership is open to everyone and starts from £2 a year.

PUB WORLD is the venue's regular bar night, and the brief they give it is 'boozer mode all night'. That's the context for this one: the bar opens at 17:00 and stays open, with Beybstation Social taking the lead. It's a mid-week one, so it's as much about the pub side of things as the music. The whole thing runs until 23:00, so you've got a good stretch of the evening to work with. If you're around on the 22nd, it's a straightforward one to drop into.
