Halloween club night billed as 'the silliest club night in the UK' at Gut Level, running into the early hours of 1 November.
Make Hardcore Happy Again is back at Gut Level on Saturday 31 October, this time as a Halloween special. It's a night that's built around a very specific, high-energy sound, and it's returning to the same room it's played before, so if you've been to one of their previous Sheffield dates, you'll know the general shape of it.
The night is billed as 'the silliest club night in the UK', which gives you a fair idea of the mood they're going for. It's not a serious, stripped-back affair; it's a party that leans into the more playful side of the hardcore scene. Being a Halloween special, the date itself does half the work, and the whole thing is set up to run well into the early hours of the following morning, so it's a long one rather than a quick in-and-out. If you're planning on staying until the end, you'll be dancing right through to Sunday 1 November.
Gut Level is at 32-34 Chapel Walk, S1 2PD, right in the city centre. It's a small, dedicated space, which suits this kind of night — the music is the main thing, and the room is built for it. With the Halloween theme, it's the sort of evening that works best when you're there with a group and ready to stay late.

It kicks off at 20:00 on Saturday, and tickets start from £12.00. Between the start time and the fact it runs into the next day, you've got a good stretch of dancing ahead of you, so keep that in mind if you're planning your Sunday morning.
