Pottery Painting & Cocktail Making 23rd October 2026

Pottering Around Ceramics Studio is running a pottery painting and cocktail making night on Friday 23 October, from 6pm to 8.30pm. It's over at 52 Middlewood Road in Hillsborough, and the whole thing is hosted by Caroline and Kelly, who run the studio.

The night works by splitting the two activities between them. Kelly is the studio's expert mixologist, and she'll guide you through making two cocktails while Caroline shows you how the pottery side of things works. You get to paint your own piece and shake up a couple of drinks at the same time, so you're not just sitting there waiting for paint to dry. Prosecco is served on arrival to get the evening going.

It's an over-18s night, and if you're not drinking alcohol, mocktails are available as long as you mention it when you book. Spaces are limited, so it's worth getting in early if you're keen. One practical thing to keep in mind: all the sessions are held upstairs, which means the studio isn't suitable for anyone with mobility issues.

Booking costs a £20 non-refundable, non-transferable deposit plus a booking fee to reserve your space, and then you pay for the pottery you've painted on the night. That's Friday 23 October, 6pm to 8.30pm, at Pottering Around Ceramics Studio, 52 Middlewood Road, Hillsborough, Sheffield S6 4HF.
