Pottery Painting & Cocktail Making

Pottering Around are running a pottery painting and cocktail making evening at their ceramics studio on Friday 30 October, from 18:00. It's a two-and-a-half-hour session in Hillsborough, and it does exactly what it says on the tin: you spend the night painting pottery and shaking up cocktails at the same time.

There are two people leading the evening. Kelly is an expert mixologist who'll guide you through making two cocktails, and Caroline is on hand to show you how the pottery works. You'll start with a glass of Prosecco on arrival, and from there you can switch between the painting and the mixing. It's an over-18s night, and if you're not drinking, mocktails are available on request when you book.

Booking works in two stages. There's a £20 non-refundable, non-transferable deposit (plus booking fee) to reserve your space, and then you pay for the pottery you paint on the evening. Spaces are limited, so it's worth getting yours in early if you're keen.

The studio is Pottering Around Ceramics Studio, 52 Middlewood Road, Hillsborough, S6 4HF. All the events are upstairs, so the venue isn't suitable for anyone with mobility issues. The session runs from 18:00 for two and a half hours.
