The West End comedy musical based on the film, on its first major UK and Ireland tour, at the Lyceum Theatre.
Mrs Doubtfire comes to the Lyceum Theatre from Tuesday 18 May to Sunday 6 June 2027, a three-week run that forms part of the show's first major UK and Ireland tour. It's the West End comedy musical based on the film, so if you've seen the movie, you'll recognise the story: Daniel is an out-of-work actor who, after losing custody in a messy divorce, creates the alter ego of Scottish nanny Euphegenia Doubtfire in a desperate attempt to stay in his children's lives. As the character takes on a life of its own, Mrs Doubtfire ends up teaching him more than he bargained for about how to be a father.
The production was put together by a transatlantic team of award-winning artists. Karey Kirkpatrick and John O'Farrell wrote the book, with original music and lyrics from Wayne and Karey Kirkpatrick. It's directed by four-time Tony winner Jerry Zaks, with scenic design by David Korins and choreography by Lorin Latarro. On stage, it brings together new songs, dazzling sets and dance numbers alongside the film's most iconic moments, so it's not just a beat-for-beat retelling.

Critics have been warm to it, with Time Out calling it 'genuinely funny' and The Telegraph and Daily Express describing it as a 'surefire hit'. It's a big, loud comedy, so it's the sort of thing that works well as a family outing or a night out with friends. The run is three weeks long, with performances at 7:30pm and 2pm, giving you plenty of choice whether you're after an evening show or a matinee.
