Bob Dylan brings his acclaimed live show to Utilita Arena Sheffield as part of his 2026 UK tour.
Bob Dylan plays Utilita Arena Sheffield on Friday 27 November, part of his 2026 UK tour. He's been touring steadily since the late 1980s, playing guitar, keyboard and harmonica with a changing line-up of musicians, and this date brings that live show to Sheffield.
The tour follows his Rough and Rowdy Ways Tour, named after the surprise 2020 album that The Guardian called "utterly unpredictable... a night of frequent thrills and unconditional pleasures". His latest official release is The Bootleg Series Vol. 18: Through The Open Window, 1956-1963, which Uncut described as "an astonishing, deep dive into Dylan's formative years".
For those who only know the big names, Dylan's place in American and European culture since the 1960s is unique. Much of his best-known work came in that decade, when he became an informal documentarian and reluctant figurehead of American unrest; songs like "Blowin' in the Wind" and "The Times They Are A-Changin'" became anthems of the anti-war and civil rights movements, and "Like a Rolling Stone" was named by Rolling Stone in 2004 as "The Greatest Song of All Time".
