Over-14s indie tribute night with live acts The Total Stone Roses, Kazabian and Oaysis playing the anthems of The Stone Roses, Oasis and Kasabian.
Manchester Calling returns to Foundry on Friday 2 April 2027, bringing together the songs of three of the biggest names in British indie. The night is built around the anthems of The Stone Roses, Oasis and Kasabian, and the line-up is made up of live tribute acts rather than the original bands. On the bill are The Total Stone Roses, Kazabian and Oaysis, each taking a turn with the material of the band they're fronting.
It's a tribute night in the truest sense, so the whole evening is built on those three bands. The Stone Roses, Oasis and Kasabian are the core of the night, and the three tribute acts cover them in turn. If you've got a favourite among them, you'll hear their songs played live by a band that specialises in that particular sound, with the other two filling out the rest of the bill. The night is promoted by The Leadmill, and it's restricted to over-14s.

Foundry is part of the Sheffield Students' Union, on Western Bank in Sheffield, South Yorkshire S10 2TG. It runs from 18:30 to 23:00, so you've got a full evening of music ahead of you. With three bands on the bill, the night stretches across the songs of three different eras of indie, and you'll hear them all live on the same stage.
