Child-friendly Halloween workshops at Lush, Meadowhall, where visitors can make their own Monster Scare Bear and Pumpkin Punkin bath bombs and colour their own lokta paper to wrap them.
Lush are running child-friendly Halloween workshops at Meadowhall this October, with sessions on the 21st, 23rd, 26th, 27th, 28th and 29th. It's a good shout if you're looking for something to do with the kids over the half-term break.
The whole point is that you get to step into the role of a Lush compounder. You'll make your own Monster Scare Bear and Pumpkin Punkin bath bombs, and then colour your own lokta paper to wrap them in, so you leave with a fully handmade and wrapped creation. It's a proper start-to-finish thing rather than just a quick demo, and since you're making two different bath bombs, there's plenty to keep small hands busy for the duration.
The workshops follow the launch of Lush's 2026 Halloween collection, which the brand described as offering a sanctuary of tranquillity to help people unwind — a bit of a contrast to the usual spooky chaos of the season. If you've already been browsing the new range, this is a way to get a bit more hands-on with it.
