Late-night crafting extravaganza with pre-booked workshops and drop-in activities at the Millennium Gallery, for ages 16 and over.
Late: Craft Jam returns to the Millennium Gallery on Thursday 3 December, from 7pm to 10pm. It's the gallery's flagship late-night crafting event, now in its twelfth year, run by Sheffield Museums as part of their Creative Workshops collection. It's a hands-on evening with a pay bar and a wide range of activities to try, and it's for ages 16 and over only.
When you book, you pick one pre-booked workshop to start with — each one runs for about half an hour. The choices this time are bath bomb making, felt flowers, charm brooches, winter-inspired clay tiles, leather baubles, metal embossed boxes, and trinket dish painting. Once you've finished your workshop, you can move on to the drop-in activities, which you can do as many times as you like throughout the night. There's painting with botanical inks, stitched floral blooms, ink drawing for robin cards and tags, badge making, rug tufting, banner making, and book binding, among others.
Every week we pick 🏆 the 5 best 🏆 things to do in Sheffield and send them to your inbox. Just one weekly email, no spam.

Because you get both a set workshop and unlimited drop-in sessions, you can spend as much of the evening as you want just making things. The pay bar is there if you fancy a drink while you work, and the whole thing runs from 7pm until 10pm at the Millennium Gallery, 48 Arundel Gate in the city centre. Each ticket covers your one pre-booked workshop and all the drop-in activities. If you change your mind, refunds are available up to seven days before the event.
