Two-hour zombie-survival adventure with SFX zombies, weapon upgrades and a photo shoot, sold as a gift experience for one or two people.
The Immersive Zombie Infection Survival Experience is running at a steelwork factory in Sheffield, a two-hour zombie-survival adventure that puts you right in the middle of the action. It's one of several award-winning sites across the UK, each with its own connecting storyline and film-realistic SFX zombies. The others include 'The Workshop' at Shepton Mallet Prison, voted the UK's best zombie experience, and a forest in Nottingham, so the Sheffield one is part of a wider network rather than a standalone thing.
On the day, the team greets you and briefs you on what's coming before you face the horde. You'll be given a weapon to hold your own, and if you want to step it up, there are upgrades like scopes and laser sights available. Once you've survived the encounter, there's a zombie photo shoot at the end to prove you made it out. It's pitched as not for the faint of heart and is for ages 18 and over.
Every week we pick 🏆 the 5 best 🏆 things to do in Sheffield and send them to your inbox. Just one weekly email, no spam.

The experience runs on selected days throughout the year, and it's sold as a gift experience for one or two people. If you're buying it for someone else, the recipient picks their own date within 12 months of purchase, so they can fit it in when it suits them. It costs £79.99, and since it's a voucher, you've got a full year to get it booked in.
