Live-action zombie survival adventure where participants, armed with a single weapon, face SFX zombies across several locations in Sheffield.
The Immersive Zombie Infection Survival Experience is running in Sheffield on selected Saturdays throughout the year, with the next session on Monday 19 October. It's a live-action survival adventure that puts you right in the middle of the action: you step into the role of a character from a zombie film or game, armed with a single weapon, and have to make it through. The whole thing takes about two to three hours from start to finish.
Before you get stuck in, there's a full safety and weapons briefing to get you up to speed, so you know exactly how to handle your gear before the first zombie appears. From there, film-realistic SFX zombies crop up across several locations, and you'll need to keep your wits about you to survive. It's designed to feel like you've stepped into a movie, rather than just watching one from the sidelines.
One thing to keep in mind is how it's sold: it's a gift voucher rather than a dated ticket. Once you've got it, you've got twelve months to book your actual date, which gives you plenty of room to coordinate with whoever you're bringing along. It's a good shout for a birthday or a group outing when you're not entirely sure when everyone's free.
Every week we pick 🏆 the 5 best 🏆 things to do in Sheffield and send them to your inbox. Just one weekly email, no spam.

It's for ages 16 and over, and the price is £103 for two people. If you've spent any time playing zombie games or watching the films, this is your chance to see how you'd actually fare when the makeup is real and the zombies are coming for you.
