Club night featuring Danielle, with HB residents FM Arlo & Jacksa at Gut Level.
Danielle headlines Gut Level on Friday 16 October, starting at 9:00 PM. She's joined by HB residents FM Arlo and Jacksa, so it's a full night of club music rather than just a single set. The night runs under the Hard Ballet banner, one of the club nights Gut Level hosts.
If you haven't come across her before, Danielle is known for an eclectic, forward-thinking approach to club music, blending house, techno, electro and experimental sounds into a groove-led style. She spent a decade at the London record store Phonica, and that time shaped her free-thinking outlook on what a dancefloor can hold. She's played across the US, Asia and Australia at festivals like Organik, Dekmantel, Draaimolen and Sonar, and at venues including Berghain/Panorama Bar, Robert Johnson, DC-10, De School, Fabric and FOLD. She's also a resident at Tbilisi's Leftbank, hosts a long-running NTS Radio show, and co-founded Mix Nights, a non-profit supporting women and non-binary DJs. Resident Advisor once described her as "a truly brilliant DJ with a canny ear for deep, mind-bending techno, house, electro and plenty more besides."
